Our Story

North Horse & Co began with a simple goal — to help local horse owners in the Northern Territory access quality CEN Horse Complete Equine Nutrition feed and supplements that truly make a difference. Living in the Top End means our horses face a harsh and often unforgiving climate, and good nutrition plays a huge role in keeping them healthy and happy.

WHY CEN?

My journey with CEN started back in 2022 when I switched my own horse, Lady, onto CEN feed and supplements. The results were immediate — she held her weight and topline so much better, her feet improved, and her coat became beautifully soft, shiny, and rich in colour. Lady had previously struggled with Queensland Itch and allergies, but with CEN, I noticed real changes in her comfort and overall wellbeing.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to take over a local Darwin CEN distributor business supplying CEN feed and supplements. Because I loved the products and had seen the benefits firsthand, I jumped at the chance to continue sharing them with the NT horse community. Over the past couple of years, I’ve watched many CEN-fed horses thrive, despite the challenges of the dry season’s lack of pasture and shortage of hay, and the heat and humidity of the build-up and wet season.

With the success of CEN with our horses, I decided to introduce CEN Dog Meal Topper Supplements to our range. As a Vet Nurse in Darwin, NT for over 20 years, I was keen to trial these products in our vet clinic and see how they could help our canine friends. In 2024, I adopted Coco, a rescue dog who came to me needing urgent care, in particular for her skin infections and hair loss. She started on the CEN Dog supplement range to kick-start her recovery — and I’ve been blown away by her progress! Her coat is growing back and is soft and shiny, her skin is healed and healthy, and she’s just thriving.

I even started taking CEN Collagen+ Magnesium and Vitamin C myself — and I’ve noticed better sleep, smoother skin, and seriously strong nails (no more splitting or flaking!).

WHAT'S NEXT?

Looking ahead, the future for North Horse & Co is exciting. We’re working towards offering Australia-wide shipping while keeping our local pick-up and delivery service for NT customers. We’ll also continue adding more trusted horse and dog care, health and wellbeing products - products I've personally tried, love, and wholeheartedly endorse!
